I hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree from NJIT an accredited design/architectural school and am a Licensed Architect with the State of New Jersey, with over 25 years management experience in a broad range of facility types.
Currently I am a Project Manger with Hunterdon Medical Center a community hospital. Recently completed $20 million Fitness and Wellness Center in Clinton, New Jersey and is presently managing current and future projects worth over $8 million including a new Physical Therapy Center, a Digital Mammography Unit, a Maternity Renovation and a Cancer Center expansion. Other responsibilities include:
• Accountable for overseeing construction of new facilities including its structure, design and mechanics, while anticipating the Hospital’s future utilities and communications infrastructure needs and strategic plan.
• Responsible for supervising Maintenance, and Internal Facility Management personnel and overseeing building and grounds maintenance and repairs.
At the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, I was a Senior Project Manager with UMDNJ’s Facilities Planning & Construction department responsible for review of legal contract documents, construction documents, project budgets and schedules for $200 million of the university’s current $400 million capital plan on the Piscataway and New Brunswick campuses, and review of monthly reports from construction managers.
Over the years I have developed a keen sense of analyzing projects to develop scopes of work as well as overseeing all phases of project execution including approving change orders, engineering/design changes and ensuring milestones are being achieved and deadlines are being accomplished and preparing internal monthly reports and was able to provide direction on a variety of topics
